Simeon, you see, this is the peoblem you get when you try to explain something you are not sure of. How can you say the resurrection is spiritual? What does it mean to raise from the dead? It simply means to bring back to life-Physical life. I must say this your teaching wants a lot of truth. Because truth is simple.

bt dis souls wer nt released at AD70 but at d resurrection of jesus as detailed in eph 4:8.in ur other post u sd der is nothing like rapture bt was d returning of God u ar referring to if nt rapture.if der is no rapture hw then those alive in christ get to heaven

1 Thess 4:16-17 relates to a resurrection that they were expecting at the return of the Lord. This resurrection was a spiritual resurrection. At that time of the end, Jesus would gather all the righteous dead from Sheol/Hades and spiritually bring them into the presence of the Lord. The dead in Christ would rise first, gathered into the Holy of Holies at the end of the Jewish age. This resurrection that took place at the end of the Old Covenant in AD 70 was not a biological resurrection of dead decayed bodies, but a release from Sheol of all who had been waiting through the centuries to be reunited with God in the heavenly kingdom.
