The reality of Jesus Christ is that He is relevant for all times...past, present, and future. He is the alpha and omega. He was their yesterdays, is our todays, and will be their tomorrows. He was at the beginning, is now, and will be forever. His warnings of unbelief and praises of faith were heralded in the past, are reiterated in our present, and will be relevant for the future.
We must not put God in a box. He did, can, and will perform His Word unto all generations. As long as this earth exists, there will be those who will be saved and those who will perish. We must continue to do His will, by warning (Colossians 1:27-28) and sharing the Gospel (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 14:22).
His promise stands...Revelation 22:13-14...I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Jude 21-25...Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
