The 2 people in question believe in dual theology, that is operating 2 covenants. One with Israel and one with the church. Once the foundation is wrong there everything built will also follow. This does not pose scary implications for the church but presents to us the truth of the advancing kingdom of God will herald the glory of God over the earth. Once you see that endtimes that the disciples were living in was about the end of the Mosaic age then everything will fall into place.

From very early times, there were disagreements and variations in understanding of eschatology, and most didn't consider it a major point of orthodoxy or a problem.

Read imilar thoughts regarding 70AD in Raptureless. I am not fully convinced. The implications for the church are scary… how can so many renowned men of God be wrong?
