HER SUBMISSION IS TO YOU ALONE… NO ONE ELSE

The submission of the woman in marriage is to her OWN husband. There are instances all around of women being made to submit to everyone in the marriage in the name of she is “our wife” (statements made by mother-inlaws, brother-inlaws etc).

She is made to go on errands by everyone in the family. That is wrong and should not be encouraged. She is not a property in the house. She is married to ONE Man and not the men in the family.

This is how the scriptures puts it:
“Wives, submit yourselves to your OWN husbands as you do to the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:22)

“Wives, likewise, be submissive to your OWN husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,” (1 Peter 3:1)

“Wives, likewise, be submissive to your OWN husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,” (1 Peter 3:5)

Off course a woman can entertain her inlaws and be of help when necessary but it should not be forced on her because she is the wife of their brother or son. She is the responsibility of her OWN husband. He is meant to cultivate her for her to be the revelation of His love. 

He is not expose her for everyone’s use. He must esteem her and place value on her as the weaker vessel. She is not married to the family but to the man to whom she is required to submit as she would the Lord. 

Protect her. Keep her. That is how you communicate LOVE to her. Her submission to you is made easy when she is inspired by your commitment to protect and love her unconditionally. #MarriageFacts
